Reporting to the COO the Director of Media and Technology Enhanced Learning Operations will lead both the operational service delivery and solutions of media & technology enhanced learning across the University. Lead the delivery of our VLE, Print & Media teams to support our technology enhanced learning and ensure the delivery of our TELT & Academic Enhancement strategic plans to ensure flexible, cost-effective and adaptive TEL operational solutions for eLearning, instructional design, development, and delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience of leading teams within or working closely with the Higher Education Sector, developing technology enhanced learning and teaching (virtual learning environments, digital media resources, marketing media and learning & teaching media and print production).
You will have exceptional project management skills and will be adept at delivering complex projects within timescales and on budget. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills you will possess the intellectual confidence to succeed in a collegial and collaborative environment.
This post is a 12 month Maternity Cover starting in September 2020. The post holder will manage teams based in our campuses across the UK, flexibility as to location and place of work will be facilitated.
